Vinícius scored the two goals at the Etihad Stadium and took time to praise Kylian Mbappé, his teammate who recently returned to playing after sustaining an injury. 

Speaking after the match, the Brazilian player didn't hold back his praises. Vinícius said, “He's a truly great player, the best in the world," stressing Mbappé’s importance to the team.
