Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, has been ranked not only as Nigeria's highest-paid football player but also the 16th in Europe.
According to a survey conducted by the popular France-based Newspaper, L'Equipe, Osimhen is Europe's 16th highest-paid footballer, earning €1.50 million (£1.29 million) every month.

PSG's Kylian Mbappe is the richest player in Europe, earning a stunning €6 million (£5.15 million) monthly. Following him is England captain Harry Kane, who makes €2.10 million (£1.8 million) each month, making him the Bundesliga's highest-paid player.

Osimhen is now the African Footballer of the Year and is expected to become the most expensive African footballer.

The 25-year-old's current deal with the Serie A winners includes a release clause worth about €120 million.
