Victor Boniface Nominated For Bundesliga Player Of The Month Award

The German Bundesliga has nominated Nigerian forward Victor Boniface for both Player and Rookie of the Month honours.

Boniface, who transferred from Union Saint-Gilloise to Bayer Leverkusen, has had a successful start to the current season.

In his first three games for Xabi Alonso's team, the 22-year-old had four goals and two assists.

His outstanding performance earned him his first international call-up for the Super Eagles match against Sao Tome & Principe in the Sunday Afcon qualifiers.

Harry Kane and Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich are also up for the award, along with Boniface.

The six-man nominee list includes Jonas Wind (Wolfsburg), Kevin Behrens (Union Berlin), and Benjamin Henrichs (Leipzip).
