Jose Mourinho, the manager of Roma, has responded to rumours that he would take over as Chelsea's manager.
The 55-year-old has had two different coaching stints with the Blues, leading them to three Premier League titles.
Todd Boehly, a co-owner of Chelsea, is now searching for a new permanent manager after appointing Frank Lampard as interim manager for the remainder of this season.
Additionally, Mourinho and Paris Saint-Germain have been mentioned.
The Portuguese player, who claimed victory in the Europa Conference League last year, insists that he is putting all of his efforts into winning the Europa League this year.
In the Italian top flight, he also hopes to place as highly as possible.
“I don’t talk to friends, comrades, or journalists. If a few months ago our CEO [Pietro] Berardi said he was sure I would stay, that is his interpretation.
“If this time Mr Zazzaroni [a journalist] said what he said is an interpretation of him, I’m not talking to anyone.
“The situation is clear, from a contractual point of view I still have one year on my contract. All good, all calm, the next one is always the most important game,” Mourinho told reporters.
