Argentina's head coach, Lionel Scaloni, has urged Lionel Messi to play for "as long as he can."

Messi has yet to officially announce his retirement date.

The 36-year-old recently completed his first season with MLS side Inter Miami CF and is preparing for his second year in the US. “We tell him [Messi] to play for as long as he can.

“He has proved that he doesn’t have an end. You don’t know when he will give [it] up. It’s incredible,” Scaloni told Christian Vieri in a Twitch interview.

Messi finally won the World Cup while playing for Scaloni in Qatar, and he has now won every trophy possible during his illustrious career.
