The National Democratic Congress (NDC), which is seeking to take power in the upcoming elections in 2024, has been aided by the Young Cadres of the UFC in Ashanti, according to Mr. Maxwell Deku, who has stated that his team is prepared to win more seats and defend the ballot boxes of their party in the Ashanti region.

Address the media on the 31st December 1981 Revolution, Mr Maxwell Deku said the spirit of Late President Jerry John Rawlings is alive to help the Young Cadres rescue Ghana from the hardship, dictatorship and Tax burden which the ruling Government NPP and President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo has brought the country’s into.

He said the Young Cadres will match the NPP boot for boot in the coming 2024 elections, and they have identified some constituencies in the Ashanti Region and they are hopefully they will win the seats to help the next NDC government to come into power.

Mr Deku said they have their plans to work from the branch, the constituency levels, and identity first time voters along with door marts NDC members to revive the party’s strength in the religion.

He then appeal to the party hierarchy to support the Young Cadres of The NDC with the necessary resources and support to stop the incumbent Government from breaking the 8 slogan they keep preaching as the world of God.
