Osun APC, State Clash Over FG Rice Rebranding

The APC condemned this action, labeling it as official fraud and accusing Governor Adeleke of using the palliatives for political gain.

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the State Government engaged in a heated exchange over allegations of rebranding federal government-donated rice palliatives.

According to the APC, the state government is allegedly replacing federal government stickers on rice trucks with its own branding.

The APC condemned this action, labeling it as official fraud and accusing Governor Adeleke of using the palliatives for political gain.

In response, the Osun Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, dismissed the APC's claims as baseless and asserted that the federal rice palliatives are being distributed without re-bagging, with additional rice being procured by the state government due to insufficient supply from the central government.
