Yekini Nabena, a former deputy national publicity secretary for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has reiterated his firm conviction that efforts by any coalition will not topple President Bola Tinubu's administration.

Nabena's announcement came after continuous rumours of a planned merger and realignment among political actors aimed at creating a mega party to unseat the APC in 2027.

In a statement he signed in Abuja on Tuesday, Nabena emphasised the stability and continuity of the APC's leadership by drawing comparisons between Tinubu's and former President Muhammadu Buhari's administrations.

Declaring that he is sure President Bola by God's grace, will finish his eight-year term in the same manner as former President Muhammadu Buhari. Not even the formation of a massive party or a merger will impede his advancement.

The APC veteran emphasised the necessity of maintaining national cohesion and endorsing Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda once more, imploring the North and South to unite behind the president.

Nabena's statements emphasised the confidence in Tinubu's capacity to fulfil his commitments and steer Nigeria towards economic growth.

In a similar spirit, Nabena expressed his unwavering support for the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, saying that no amount of political manoeuvring will stop him from serving out his tenure.
