John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) presumptive presidential candidate, will launch his campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region on Friday, April 14, by stopping by four constituencies.

The tour was initially postponed so that parliamentary candidates could be vetted last week.

Despite its restart, the former president's campaign tour will only take him to Ada, Sege, Ningo-Prampram, and Kpone Katamanso.

“The dates for the tour of the remaining thirty(30) Constituencies will be communicated to the public in due course,” a notice issued by the Greater Accra NDC Communications Officer, Jerry Johnson, said.

After visiting more than eight regions of the nation, Mr. Mahama recently finished a three-day tour in the Eastern Region.

He is running for re-election as the NDC's presidential candidate in the 2024 elections.

On Saturday, May 13, the primaries are set to take place.

Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, a former finance minister, and Kojo Bonsu, a former chief executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), are Mr. Mahama's opponents.
