Federal Gov’t Working Hard To End Insecurity — Ribadu

said the Federal Government is making every effort to guarantee that everyone abducted is freed and that the threat of insecurity is eliminated.

The NSA made this declaration on Tuesday while presenting a second family of five that had been freed from the lair of kidnappers by security personnel working under the directive of his office.

Ribadu said that on July 20, 2024, at Mahuta Village, Kaduna South local government area, Kaduna state, the entire family of one Mr. Sanda Bitrus, including his wife, one young man, and three children, was abducted.

He said that the ONSA's collaboration with other security agencies, which came together to save them on July 28, less than a week later, made the rescue possible.

According to the NSA, President Bola Tinubu's government has promised to make sure that every person who is being held captive by terrorists, bandits, or kidnappers Nationwide is brought to safety.

He expressed his gratitude to the security forces for their diligent efforts in determining the most effective ways to tackle the country's security issues.

Mr. Bitrus, the head of the family, thanked the security forces and the ONSA for their diligent efforts in guaranteeing his family members' safe return.

The victims were saved on July 28 at the Rijana general area in the Chikun local government area of Kaduna State, according to the report of the rescue effort.

It further disclosed that the victims were brought to the hospital for physical examinations to determine their current state of health and that the doctors confirmed that they were well enough to resume their regular activities.
