Enugu: Six Labour Party State Assembly Members Defect to PDP

Says with recent developments, the PDP is now the majority with 18 house members and the LP is the minority with six members.

Six members of the Labour Party, LP, in the Enugu State House of Assembly on Thursday, March 28, defected to the People's Democratic Party, PDP, during plenary.

The following are those that decamped: the chief whip, member representing Igbo-Eze North constituency 1 in Enugu State House of Assembly, Pius Onyekachi Ezugwu, deputy chief whip, member representing Enugu South Rural, Hon. Ejike Ezeh, member representing Nsukka East, Osita Eze, member representing Igbo-Etiti West, Princess Obiajulu Ugwu, member representing Oji River, Engr. William Amuka, and member representing Enugu North Urban, Johnson Ani.

However, with recent developments, the PDP is now the majority with 18 house members and the LP is the minority with six members.
