APC Vows to End Adeleke’s Tenure in 2026

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has challenged Governor Ademola Adeleke to prepare for an electoral defeat in 2026. The APC’s Director of Media, Kola Olabisi, issued the warning in response to comments made by the state’s PDP chairman, Sunday Bisi, who claimed that the PDP would rule Osun indefinitely due to Adeleke’s accomplishments.

Bisi, speaking at an event organized by the League of Veteran Journalists in Osogbo, praised Adeleke's administration for ongoing infrastructure projects and effective governance. He also dismissed criticisms about the governor’s family influence, crediting them with rescuing the PDP in Osun.

Olabisi, however, expressed confidence that the APC would reclaim power in the upcoming election, criticizing Bisi’s statement as arrogant and reminiscent of past failed promises by the PDP.
