Ebonyi Govt Set to Curb Insecurity

At Chuba Okadigbo International Airport. To protect the lives and properties of travelers and airline operators.

Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State led Government yesterday, September 23, affirmed it has moved to tackle insecurity, prevent crimes and challenges facing flight/airport operations at the Chuba Okadigbo International Airport, Onueke, Ezza South LGA.

This was made known by the State Commissioner of Aviation and Transport Technology, Mrs Ngozi Obichukwu while speaking with Pressmen in Abakaliki, shortly after a six-day sensitization of the airport security operatives and staff.

According to the commissioner, the sensitization was targeted at improving the security architecture of the airport and its environs, to fight against the challenges facing flight/airport operations and ensure safety of travelers and airline operators in the state.

Also, Nnanna Nwangele, Special Assistant to the Governor on Airport Security, said there will be optimum protection of lives and properties of the travelers and airline operators, noting that Ebonyi State is the safest state in the southeast region.
