In a road accident on Monday morning in the Ijoka Area of Akure, the capital of Ondo State, an unidentified middle-aged man crushed four people to death.

According to an eyewitness, the man was driving a Toyota car down the road when he suddenly lost control of it and crashed into the commercial motorcycle riders.

Some fetish items were discovered inside the vehicle by sympathizers who rushed to the scene to save the driver, raising suspicions that the driver was a "yahoo boy."

The sympathizers, outraged by what they saw in the car, descended on the driver and beat him until he fell asleep. The community begs Akeredolu to rebuild the abandoned road.

Men from the state police command arrived at the scene shortly thereafter and freed the beaten driver from the mob.
