Tinubu Approves a Supplementary Budget of N2.17 Trillion

President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, put pen to paper on the 2023 Supplementary Budget, worth N2.17 trillion, following its recent approval by the National Assembly.

The signing took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, and notable dignitaries who graced the occasion included Senator Godswill Akpabio, the President of the Senate, and Tajudeen Abass, the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Among those present with the President during the brief signing ceremony in his office were Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF); Atiku Bagudu, the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning; and Zacch Adedeji, the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS).

Additionally, the signing ceremony was attended by Opeyemi Bamidele, the Senate Leader, and Olamilakan Adeola, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance.
