Suspected Herdsmen Attack Nimbo Community in Enugu

Five people lost their lives during the attack, while many others sustained injuries.

A violent attack struck the Nimbo community in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Enugu State, on Sunday evening. Reports allege that the suspected herders targeted mourners at Ugwuijoro Nimbo, leaving about five people dead and several others injured. The incident sent shockwaves through the community, forcing residents to flee for safety.

It was alleged that this is not the first time Nimbo has faced such violence. In 2016, the community suffered related attacks from herders, resulting in numerous deaths and displacement. The police have yet to comment on the latest incident.
