The Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has commenced Sealing of Shops, companies, hotels, schools and business premises that were closed over Monday's sit-at-home order by the fractional leaders of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Simon Ekpa.

Governor Mbah on July 24, instructed his SSG, Prof. Chiebere Onyia, accompanied by security agents to seal all shops that obeyed the sit-at-home order today being Monday.

Recall that the governor had last week threatened to seal any shop, hotels, schools, and companies in the state that fail to go about their daily businesses on July 24, due to the order by Mazi Simon Ekpa.

Meanwhile, many social media users have criticized Mbah's decisions of sealing shops and businesses. 

A social media user who wished to be anonymous wrote,

Me: “This is not a proactive way to go about this issue. If you want to put an end to the Sit-at-home, provide visible security for the people. Many are not sitting at home willingly but out of fear of getting attacked if they open on Mondays.”

“Once the people can see the visible security network provided for them, they will open their shops and do business every Monday.”

“This issue needs wisdom more than it needs might,” he asserted.
