Sanwo-Olu Hails Otedola’s N1bn Security Donation

Mr Femi Otedola, representing his father, philanthropist and entrepreneur, donated a substantial N1bn to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu receiving the contribution at the Lagos House, Marina. 

Expressing gratitude, Sanwo-Olu stressed its profound impact on fostering peace and attracting investments. 

He urged others to follow Otedola's example, stating, 'The N1bn he has donated is not the limit. There are no limits; let others come and do more.'

Additionally, the governor announced the government's commitment to providing 300 vehicles to the Fund in Q1, reinforcing the call for broader support from Lagosians and corporations. 

In response, Olawunmi Otedola commended Sanwo-Olu and the LSSTF for their efforts in maintaining Lagos's safety, urging continued transparency in resource management."
