The Kano State Police Command has urged Muslims to remain vigilant while participating in daily religious activities throughout Ramadan and beyond across the state. Commissioner of Police, Mr. Usaini Gumel, emphasized this during an interview with journalists in Kano on Monday.

Gumel assured that the command had implemented adequate security measures to guarantee a peaceful and smooth fasting period.

Furthermore, he urged residents to promptly report any suspicious individuals, objects, or vehicle movements to the nearest police station for immediate security action.

He emphasized the importance of cooperation between the people of Kano State and security agencies, urging everyone to abide by the law, follow traffic regulations, and observe essential rules to prevent any disturbances to the peace.
