In order to get rid of criminals from the state's forests, the Ondo police say they will use new tactics with other security agencies.
Taiwo Jesubiyi, the new Magistrate of Police, in Ondo State, who uncovered this, Monday, while talking with columnists in Akure, said the order under his authority would survey the current methodology and make the state inhabitable for crooks. He stated that his command would collaborate with other security agencies to manage storm forests along the Kogi-Edo state border. Jesubiyi also stated that he had been briefed on the state's black spots and other security issues.
"To work with God's fear, I am here with my management team. In order to lower the state's crime rate, we will evaluate the current approaches and develop new ones. With the backing of the state government and participation of people in general, we will go far on the grounds that security isn't one man's work.
“If we are not able to completely eradicate crime, I appeal to all stakeholders, particularly the general public and the media, to collaborate with the police to reduce it to the absolute minimum.
He stated, "I have been briefed, and our plan is to work with other sister agencies to comb the forest leading to Kogi and Edo states to flush out criminals who are hiding in the forests."
