Wike Hosts Suspended Rivers Lawmakers in UK Amid Training
Olayinka stated that Wike departed Nigeria on Sunday night, following a visit to his political friends and associates in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
On Monday, April 7, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, received members of the suspended Rivers State House of Assembly.
Wike entertained the lawmakers in the United Kingdom at a dinner.
Lere Olayinka, spokesman to the minister, noted that the lawmakers were entertained during their stay in the UK for a Legislative Capacity Building Course.
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Olayinka stated that the minister left Nigeria on Sunday night to host the meeting.
