Police Confirms Armed Attack on Rector in Osun

Dr. Samson Akinbamide Adegoke, the acting rector of the Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, has been implicated in an armed attack, according to the Osun State Police Command.

On Monday, Yemisi Opalola, the Command's Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), confirmed the attack to DAILY POST.

“Yes, we have heard about it. We are looking into it right now, and we'll find out who did it soon”.

According to Opalola, investigations to identify the attack's masterminds are still ongoing.

Sources claim that on Monday night, unidentified gunmen attacked the institution's rector, Adegoke a few kilometers from the institution's gate, near the Eti-Oni junction.

The armed attack took place inside a car.
