Osun to Train 5,000 Job Seekers

Mr. Kehinde Ibitoye, the focal person for the Osun Social Investment Programme, presented the state government's plans to empower over 5,000 job seekers through training in various entrepreneurial fields.

He stated that the initiative would "get stimulated entrepreneurship knowledge economy, get access to over 600 profitable business ideas and stimulated business knowledge" for over 5000 indigenous entrepreneurs, Small and Medium Scale Enterprise owners, job seekers, corps members, and graduating students.

In addition, he stated that the beneficiaries would have "access to various business opportunities in Africa, register a company with CAC, and get access to other legal services, as well as access to various skills."

“This initiative is in tandem with the present administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s commitment to creating job makers across the State who will in turn create job opportunities for Osun State job seekers.”
