Osun Amotekun Arrests Man for Alleged Defilement of Minor

The Osun Amotekun Corps has arrested a 35-year-old man, Muritala Ibrahim, for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl in Agba, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State.

According to reports, the girl's mother lodged a complaint at the Amotekun Boripe Command, leading to Ibrahim's arrest. He allegedly lured the girl into his residence, where he forcefully had carnal knowledge of her. Furthermore, Ibrahim shaved part of the girl's hair and gave her new clothes to wear.

Confirming the arrest, the Corps Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps, Dr. Hon. Adekunle I Omoyele, stated that the suspect was arrested after the victim's mother lodged a complaint at Amotekun Boripe Command. The operatives immediately swung into action and apprehended the suspect at his residence in Agba.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect confessed to perpetrating the act by defiling the minor. The Corps Commander asserted that Ibrahim has been handed over to the police for further investigation, prosecution, and report.

The Public Relations Officer of Osun Amotekun Corps, Yusuf Idowu Abass, signed the statement confirming the arrest.
