Oba Oladunjoye Fajana, the traditional ruler of Okeagbe, the capital of the Akoko North West Local Government Area in Ondo State, has joined his ancestors.
The age of Oba Oladunjoye was 80. The monarch's death was announced by Otunba Solomon Oladunni, the Asiwaju of Okeagbe.
He said the rule of Oba Oladunjoye was tranquil, moderate, and significant.
Additionally, when reached, Ruler Foluso Arasanyin, the Castle antiquarian, affirmed the section of the ruler. He stated, " The news that our highly regarded monarch, Oba Oladunjoye Fajana, Ajana, the Afa of Okeagbe, has passed away to glory has weighed heavily on our hearts and filled them with sorrow and grief.
Arasanyin said Oba Oladunjoye was a conventional leader of note, portraying him as a dad, inspiration, and youth-driven ruler who might constantly urge the young people to adapt to the situation of starting to lead the pack in revamping Nigeria.
Prince Niyi Fajana expressed his own grief over his father's passing, describing it as a "painful" experience .
