The Rivers State Police Command has arrested four suspects linked to the sudden disappearance of Yahaya Faruq, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member serving in Ikuru Town, Andoni Local Government Area, Rivers State. Faruq vanished after reporting for his part-time job at LDM Chinese Mining Company on October 14.

State Police spokesperson, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident, stating that the four suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.

The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN) raised alarm about Faruq's disappearance, urging authorities to conduct a thorough investigation. They revealed that Faruq signed in for work but never signed out, leaving his family and colleagues in distress. LDM later returned his bag and phone to his primary assignment, Mixed Secondary School, intensifying concerns.
