In a statement released by the Corps spokesperson, CSC Afolabi Babawale, Audi conveyed this message while extending his warm Eid-el-Maulud greetings to Muslim faithful on Wednesday in Abuja.

The CG of NSCDC encouraged Nigerians to maintain faith in the security agencies responsible for upholding law and order in the country. He expressed his dismay regarding the prevailing insecurity challenges plaguing the nation, emphasizing that incidents of banditry, kidnapping, abduction, and other criminal activities have become increasingly concerning despite security measures.

Audi went on to urge citizens to continue supporting the government's peace initiatives by cooperating with the appropriate authorities in combating the menace of insecurity. He stressed the importance of providing credible information to security agencies to facilitate proactive measures aimed at curbing insecurity.

The CG reiterated the NSCDC's unwavering commitment to collaborating with sister agencies to effectively address insecurity. He affirmed the Corps' determination to ensure the adequate protection of lives and property, including the fulfillment of its mandate to safeguard critical national assets and infrastructure.

As Muslims celebrate, Audi appealed to the general public to embrace and uphold peace, drawing inspiration from the life of Prophet Mohammed.
