The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested Chukwuemeka Clement, a 67-year-old trafficker, at Abuja's Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

He was caught with 100 wraps of cocaine that he had ingested.

Chukwuemeka explained that he turned to this criminal activity to gather money for marrying a new wife and starting a fresh life after spending 30 years in Brazil, Ethiopia, and Thailand. He mentioned that he had been previously married but lost his wife and did not have any children.

The NDLEA reported that Chukwuemeka's arrest took place on October 3rd, during the passenger clearance for an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Addis Ababa. During a body scan, it was discovered that he had multiple pellets in his stomach. While under observation, he excreted a total of 100 wraps of cocaine, weighing 2.195 kilograms, in four separate occurrences.
