NDLEA Appoints New Commander in Osun

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Osun Command, has welcomed a new commander, Mr. Adetula Lawal, who officially assumed duty on Friday.

In a statement released in Osogbo, the Command’s spokesperson, Mr. Charles Odigie, confirmed that Lawal succeeded Commander Chidi Nnadi, who has been transferred to Abia State.

Before his appointment, Lawal served as the Head of Operations at Tincan Island Port in Lagos. Hailing from Owo in Ondo State, he brings extensive operational experience to his new role.

The outgoing commander, Chidi Nnadi, who began his tenure in Osun on February 13, 2022, led the Command to arrest 645 drug suspects and secure 117 convictions.
