Muslim Clerics, Lawmaker Prays for National Peace, Security

Report says the prayer was committed to the success of President Tinubu’s administration.

A federal lawmaker representing Kiru/Bebeji Constituency and member of the New Nigeria People Party, Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, has organized a special prayers session for peace and security in Nigeria

It was gathered that the Muslim prayers, held at the weekend, were also committed to the success of President Tinubu’s administration.

A statement by the media aide to the legislator, Sani Ibrahim Paki revealed that the congregation was led by several Muslim clerics. also prayed for the leader of the New Nigeria People Party,(NNPP) Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso and for Governor Abba’ Kabir Yusuf’s success at the Supreme Court.

On his part, Jibrin stressed his relationship with President Tinubu while acknowledging Kwankwaso as his political mentor, noting that he would continue to support a harmonious relationship between the two of them

Jibrin also hinted that the New Nigeria People Party was still open to collaboration, alliance or merger with the APC, the PDP, the LP or any other political party that shows interest, so long as it is for the good of Nigerians.

He offered to deploy his modest political network to reach out to gladiators in Kano politics towards de-escalating the current political tension in the state as a result of the contest for the governorship seat.
