Modakeke Indigenes Distance selves from Osun unrest

Over the weekend, residents of Modakeke in Osun rejected accusations linking them to disturbances in Ile-Ife. 

In a statement released by the "Modakeke Think Tank" (MTT) chaired by Kola Olabisi and secretaryed by Femi Oladosu, they urged the public to disregard such claims. 

Refuting allegations, they recounted a tragic incident involving a Modakeke couple, emphasizing that recent conflicts were fueled by unidentified troublemakers, not Modakeke residents. 

They expressed gratitude for the peaceful leadership of Ooni of Ife and Ogunsua of Modakeke, calling for a focus on unity and progress rather than discord
