The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has said that poverty as well as difficult times have always been major concern of Nigerians for a very long time.

MURIC highlighted that inflation is global and that hunger had become common all around the world.

The group referred to the projected nationwide hunger protest as an invitation to the mother of all hunger.

It advised the organisers to follow the path of patience and dialogue.

MURIC confirmed this in a statement signed on Tuesday by its Executive Director, Professor Ishaq Akintola.
