"Don't Appoint Ex- Govs, You Owe Them Nothing" -Adeyanju To Tinubu

... Urges the President to appoint seasoned technocrats as ministers

Socio-political activist Deji Adeyanju has advised President Bola Tinubu against appointing former governors to ministerial positions.

Adeyanju asserted that Tinubu owes no debt to former governors and should choose competent technocrats as ministers.

The rights activist tweeted that former governors have no bearing on his goals.

According to Adeyanju: “President Tinubu should not give any former governor ministerial appointment but appoint extremely competent technocrats.

“I know the pressure the president must be facing to appoint these formal governors so that he can secure a 2nd term but these former governors are already irrelevant.

“Tinubu should begin to partner with current governors ahead of 2027. Nigeria is in a very bad place currently.”
