Barely 3 Days After Inauguration, Kaduna State Lose Representative

On Saturday, Madami died in a hospital in Kaduna. He had been elected to the Assembly on the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) platform.

Just three days after the inauguration ceremony, Madami Garba Madami, a representative for the Chikun Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, has passed away.

On Saturday, Madami died in a hospital in Kaduna. He had been elected to the Assembly on the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) platform.

Apparently owing to illness, late Madami was unable to attend the swearing-in of the 10th State Assembly on June 13, 2023.

Madami's passing was verified to journalists by the Traditional Ruler of Chikun, Ibrahim Sale.

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani stated that the late Madami was well-liked and well-known for encouraging peaceful coexistence.

He commiserated with the late Rep's family and constituents and expressed grief over the loss of the lawmaker.

“God grant the soul of Madami eternal rest and comfort his family, associates, friends, and constituents he left behind.”.

“In his lifetime, Madami, served as Member, representing Chikun Constituency, in the Kaduna State House of Assembly; Chairman of Chikun Local Government Area; Commissioner of Planning and Budget and Special Adviser Political, to Late Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa.”
