Army Determined to Defeat Terrorists, Bandits – COAS

The Nigerian Army Chief, Lt Gen Taoreed Lagbaja, has reassured Nigerians of the military's resolve to eradicate terrorists, bandits, and other threats, and reaffirmed his dedication to restoring peace in the country.

In his Easter message on Sunday, the Army Chief highlighted the significant achievements in the ongoing operations against terrorism and banditry. He emphasized the Nigerian Army's dedication to defeating insurgents and other aggressors disturbing the country's peace.

Lagbaja commended the troops' successes in various operations, especially in Operation Hadin Kai in the North-East and promised that under his leadership, the Nigerian Army will continue to record tremendous successes in various operations at home and abroad and also assured his men of prioritized welfare and training.

Lagbaja urged service personnel to pray against negative forces affecting Nigeria's peace and progress and encouraged everyone to use the Easter celebration to reflect and renew dedication to their duties.
