On Saturday, some armed men ambushed and robbed a 59-seater luxurious bus operated by Ifesinachi Transport Limited at Oke Ado Junction in Ijebu-mushin, along the Ijebu-Ode-Benin Expressway.

The passengers were reportedly traveling to the southeast for Easter celebrations when the event occurred.

Once the passengers were successfully robbed, the hoodlums decided to burn the bus down.

The incident was confirmed to our correspondent on Sunday by SP Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command.

He stated that the bus was traveling from Maza Maza when it came across the hoodlums who were armed with cutlasses.

In a video shared by Chude Nnamdi on social media, some of the affected passengers described how the robbers harassed them, took their stuff, and set the bus on fire.
