Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has praised the Federal government's endorsement of Ondo Remote ocean Port.
Governor Akeredolu, who expressed gratitude toward President Muhammadu Buhari and different individuals from the Federal Executive Council (FEC) for the accomplishment, said the endorsement was an amazing keepsake from the Buhari organization.
In a statement that was signed by Richard Olatunde, the governor's chief press secretary, the governor said that putting the port project into action was very important to his administration.
"The Ondo Port is one of the main activities of this organization. We are committed and determined to carry out this project, which will propel our state toward economic prosperity.
"Our vision for this Port of Ondo is for it to be a way for our goods, agricultural produce, and soon, our bitumen to move through it."
"It is the objective of this organization to guarantee that the capability of Ondo State is expanded and that all essential foundations expected to make this a the truth are set up to accomplish this.
"We thank the pastor of transportation, Hon. Mu'azu Jaji Sambo, for his intercessions and responsibility. Our state is extremely appreciative of this sterling service. History will be thoughtful to him.
"We also candidly noted the role of our own Prince Ademola Adegoroye, minister of state for transportation. Your significant battles and endeavors have begun yielding through the product of advancement. Indeed, you have demonstrated that you truly represent your people. Your perseverance is admirable.
"We also appreciate everyone who has, in some way, contributed to the process of obtaining this approval." It's just a blip. We anticipate that this development will re-energize our determination to complete the Port Ondo project.
