In a call for national unity, the Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace Limited, Allen Onyema, encourages Nigerians to prioritise their shared identity as a nation over ethnic and religious affiliations for the development of the country.

Onyema gave the charge while delivering a lecture themed “Leading by Example: Instilling Trust and Confidence in Subordinates” for course participants of Senior Course 46 of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, on Monday in Kaduna State.

The CEO said, “We have to thank the military and appreciate the sacrifices they have made uniting the nation.

The masses have to appreciate their sacrifices and support the Armed Forces of Nigeria, specifically at this difficult time.

We rely on our military. We recognise their dedication to safeguarding our nation.

Onyema noted that Nigeria is a great country, and urged Nigerians to stop seeing each other differently because of their religion or ethnicity.

Onyema announced that once Nigerians can achieve unity in the nation’s diversity, "the rest is history.

Having 378 ethnic groups means that every tribe has a positive attribute to contribute to the centre, for which every Nigerian is motivated.

The Air Peace boss said there is true nationalism in the military, which every Nigerian should copy.

Commenting, the Commandant, AFCSC, AVM Hassan Alhaji, thanked the Air Peace boss for visiting the college to share his knowledge with the students.

Alhaji hinted that it was evident from the lecture that there was life after military service.

“This uniform is to make Nigeria a greater nation and defend it at all times, “Alhaji asserted.
