23-year-old Chidinma Adetshina, who quit the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant due to online controversy over her citizenship, has won the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 title.

Chidinma, who represented Taraba State in the pageant, beat four other finalists, including Miss Rivers State, Miss Anambra State, Miss Ondo State, and Miss Edo State, to win the pageant.

She will represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico this November, while the first runner-up, Miss Anambra, will compete in the Miss Supernational pageant.

Chidinma won the pageant and received a N10 million prize.
