Turkey President Urge Tinubu To Work With Him As A Team 

The Türkiye President advice Tinubu to work with him in other to establish a good relationship between Nigerians and Turkish Citizens.

The Turkish President, Tayyip Erdoğan, congratulated Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, On Wednesday April 12 , 2023  for his victory in the February 25 presidential election.

Erdoğan said, in his congratulatory letter,  “On behalf of the Turkish Nation and my own, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Your Excellency on the occasion of your election as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at the elections held on February 25, 2023.

Noting he believes that as their strategic partner, Nigeria, under the leadership of Tinubu will continue its course to a prosperous future. Turkey attaches great importance to improving its relations with Nigeria, as the strongest nation on the African continent.

Stating that, He has no doubt with their joint efforts, that Nigeria and Turkey will develop friendly relations for the mutual benefits of their citizens.

“Erdoğan says,  he avail himself the opportunity to express his heartfelt wishes for the health and happiness of Your Excellency, as well as, the well-being and prosperity of the friendly people of Nigeria.”

Moreover, other world leaders, who have similarly congratulated Tinubu, include President Xi Jinping of China; Israel Prime Minister, United Kingdom Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak; Benjamin Netanyahu; Emmanuel Macron and President of France.
