Founder of Cash App, Bob Lee Killed at Age 43

Bob Lee, a 43-year-old tech executive and the creator of Cash App, has been fatally stabbed in San Francisco, California.

According to San Francisco police, the software tycoon, who once held the position of chief technology officer at Square, was attacked around 2:35 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, in the city's Rincon Hill district.

When police arrived, they discovered a 43-year-old male who had sustained several stab wounds.

Lee was eventually identified as the victim by CBS News.

According to authorities, Bob was brought to a neighboring hospital before he passed away from his wounds.

As of early Wednesday, no one has been arrested. The outlet continues, "San Francisco police have not disclosed any suspect information."
