Nigerian actress and film producer Ruth Kadiri has called out Nollywood producers who pressure actors to create one million views on the first day of upload on YouTube in movies they were featured in.

The famous filmmaker advised actors not to allow any producer to force them to do high numbers on YouTube.

On her part, one million views are not the benchmark for a successful movie.

Kadiri wrote on her verified Instagram handle, “Dear Nollywood actors, take the pressure off your shoulders! Any producer who demands one million views from you in one day has failed. A good production needs more than your face.

“One million views is not a benchmark of success. So much y’all don’t know about YouTube. Don’t let their ignorance rob you of your joy,” she added.
