Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, a Nigerian afrobeats star, has become the first African artist to perform at the prestigious Ballon d'Or ceremony.

On Monday night, the 23-year-old performed at the 2023 Ballon d'Or ceremony in Paris, France.

Rema wowed the crowd with a performance of his hit song, 'Calm Down.'

The award organizers posted a video of his electrifying performance on their verified X account with the caption, "Calm Down!

Ravage, his most recent EP, is also a testament to his success, debuting on the charts in over 50 countries just hours after its release on Friday, October 26, 2023.
