Idris Okuneye, a popular crossdresser also known as Bobrisky, has been released from prison.

Recall that on April 5, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) convicted Bobrisky for mutilating naira notes. The Commission indicted Okuneye with four charges of naira abuse to which he pleaded guilty before Justice A.O. Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos.

Bobrisky was released on Monday, August 5, 2024. He was spotted in a video with friends, grooving to Mohbad and Chike's Egwu song. His friends were quoted saying, "We are out of prison." Congratulations, Bobrisky."
