Mohbad: Naira Marley, Sam Larry Granted ₦20 Million Bail

Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, were granted bail in the sum of N20 million with three responsible sureties by a Yaba Magistrate Court in Lagos State.

Adeola Olatunbosun, the Magistrate, also ordered the duo to submit their international passports as part of their bail conditions.

The Magistrate also ordered the pair to appear at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) on a weekly basis.

The Magistrate in charge of the case issued a special warning, stating that any attempt to contact her through the back channel would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.

“As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.“Any attempt to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings,” Olatunbosun warned.

The two were apprehended upon their return to Nigeria for allegedly being involved in the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

Previously, videos on social media showed Sam Larry physically assaulting Mobad, while other videos showed boys suspected of acting on Naira Marley's orders attacking the late rapper over his departure from Marlian Records, a record label founded by Naira Marley.
