This came to limelight after DJ Cuppy confirmed her relationship with Taylor in December 2022 after a video implying a marriage proposal went viral. However, speculations of a split arose on July 15 when the duo unfollowed each other on social media platforms.

Addressing a diverse audience at the Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ) conference, Cuppy delved into some of the challenges she has encountered, including the setbacks of a failed jewelry line and academic hurdles at Oxford University.

She said, "I am no longer engaged," expressing optimism about the future and the opportunities it holds for her. The conference provided a platform for the DJ to openly reflect on her journey, sharing both personal and professional aspects of her life.

“Now I can stand here and tell you how unpredictable my life has been despite being from a privileged background,” she said.

“Whether it is my failed jewellery line which I did at 28 years old, or going to University of Oxford at 29 and almost failing class.

“Perhaps a cherry on top, last year I got engaged and I am no longer engaged but such is life and I know my story is still happening and there is more to come and I am okay with the uncertainties.”
