Comedian SDK Dele has announced in a twitter post today, January 31, the death of his beloved mother, Madam Rebecca Oppong. He posted, “Lost my lovely mom….Rest in peace Mama”

His mother played a notable role in most of his comedy skits together with his late Dad.

In the comedian’s first feature film, Blue Film, his parents starred alongside him, playing parents to his character.

The comedian in an interview with Delay about a month indicated that his mother was battling a stroke at the hospital and was grateful that his father gave up the ghost because both parents couldn’t have been sick at the same time.

SDK Dele’s mother has been in the spotlight for some time now featuring in skits produced by her son.

Following the announcement from the Comedian, fans and friends on social media shared their condolences with him.
