Chidinma Ekile, a Nigerian singer and songwriter, revealed in a YouTube post of being born blind.

Recall that Chidinma is ‘Kedike’ singer and in the year 2021, she transitioned to a gospel artist.

She disclosed that she was born visually impaired, and her parents tried everything possible so she could see. According to the singer, her parents had to resort to spiritual means when all medical efforts proved abortive.

Chidinma noted that her mother made a deal with God, and miraculously she regained her sight.

However, she affirms that she has since dedicated her life to God and so encouraged others to do the same.

Similarly, it was alleged that Chidinma became famous in 2010 after winning the third season of Project Fame West Africa, and her music video for “Emi Ni Baller” made her the first female artist to reach number one on the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 chart.
