Young musician Rema has disclosed that he has renounced his admission at UNILAG and is now only concentrating on his music.

You might remember that the 22-year-old musician said he got admission into the University of Lagos last year in order to fulfill his mother's wish for him to finish school.

However, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) began a 7-month strike a month following his enrollment.

The musician, who never returned to the school to start his education revealed in a recent interview with a Caucasian host of Count Down Radio that he had opted out of it because the institution went on strike.
