Popular Nollywood actress Shan George has disclosed that she has recovered ₦3.6 million that was stolen from her Zenith Bank account on Friday, May 3, 2024.

The veteran actress revealed this in a live video via her Instagram handle. She also appreciated Zenith Bank, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nigerians, and all those who supported her financially in her pursuit to recover her money.

She said, I want to thank Zenith Bank for your immediate action. I want to thank Opay for being so transparent. I also want to thank EFCC, Safe Haven Bank, and the Nigerian Police.

Shan George pledges to share more updates on how the incident happened and how she recovered her money.

Recall that Lagos Local News reported that the actress, on May 3, took to her Instagram handle crying out for help after a person she identified as Cecelia Chiagoziem Okoro allegedly withdrew ₦3.6 million from her Zenith Bank account.
